Questions and answers

What music suits a dental practice?

Calm music at a steady tempo, such as piano, soft acoustic or bossa nova. It should feel reassuring and not draw attention.

Does a dentist need a music licence for the waiting room?

For ordinary music, usually yes. With Divivity there are no licence fees, because we own the music. The right to play it is included in your subscription.

Can the waiting room and treatment rooms have different music?

Yes. With one account per room, each room can have its own channel.

What does it cost?

You choose monthly or yearly billing. Yearly billing makes the monthly price lower. You see the price before you pay, changes are announced in advance and you can cancel whenever you like.

What do we need to get started?

A computer, tablet or phone and a speaker. Create an account and start listening straight away, with nothing to install.

Can we choose what music plays?

You choose a channel and adjust the sliders so the music suits you. We have chosen the tracks for you.

Will there be ads between tracks?

No, never. It is music only.

How often is there new music?

Continuously. We select new music and add it, so it never gets repetitive for you or your regulars.

Can we have music in several places?

Yes. Create one account per shop or premises, and each place can have its own mood. The same music in several rooms of one premises works from one account. If you want different music in different rooms you need one account per room, because one account plays one stream at a time.

What if the internet is unreliable?

The music reconnects by itself as soon as the connection is back.

Is Spotify or another streaming service enough?

No. Ordinary streaming subscriptions are for private listening. Playing music in a business requires other agreements. With us, the right to play the music in your business is included for as long as you have an active subscription.

What happens if you shut the service down?

We would then terminate the agreement with at least 30 days notice, and you can listen until the end of the period you have already paid for.

How long does the music play?

As long as you are open. A sign-in lasts 15 hours, so even a long day is fine. The next morning you simply sign in again.
